The Hustings is a media website designed to present straight news and non-partisan political analysis, with liberal and conservative commentary all on one page. News & analyses appear in the middle column, with liberal commentary in the left column and conservative commentary in the right. Read all three columns together to learn left and right perspectives on the news without the traps of an echo-chamber.
The editors of The Hustings recognize that all journalists and writers contributing to this (and any) website approach political issues with a point of view. In framing the facts behind a news story in the middle column, liberals writing for the left column and conservatives writing for the right column are intended to bring context and balance to the entire page, and help keep the center column in check.
